Bio
Sarah joined GUND Partnership in 2021. She looks at architecture as democratic, meaning it’s there to serve everyone. It’s this belief that leads her to design through the lens of community.
She seeks ways in which the design of a building can influence knowledge sharing and have generational impact. She is passionate about material selection and helps ensure all of GUND’s projects use healthy materials that do not contribute negatively to occupant health or the environment.
Sarah received Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She once asked her grandfather what career she could have where she could draw all day. His response, be an architect.
