Bio

Rena joined GUND in 2015, bringing to the firm a background in architecture, furniture design and urban planning. She approaches every project as an opportunity to further develop a sense of place, strengthening the surrounding community with contextually sensitive design.

She has become a valuable resource in developing feasibility studies and conceptual designs and taking them into construction documents and construction administration. Her focus is on academic projects and includes student living, performance spaces and administrative buildings. It brings her great pleasure to play a part in enriching the student experience on campus.

Rena received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree from University of California, Berkeley and a Master of Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her passion to reach the next generation through architecture extends outside of the firm and through her volunteer work with the Boston Society of Architects Family and Kids program.
