Since joining the firm in 1994, David has been dedicated to the idea of dialog and discovery. He is a believer in the power of listening to clients and then leveraging his own experience and knowledge to create spaces that support what they're trying to do.
He specializes in the design of academic facilities, and has worked on several of the firm’s most significant projects. Today as Principal of the firm, David is focused on innovating for the future.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota School of Architecture. He is an active member and presenter at several organizations including the Society for College and University Planning, American Library Association, and Greenbuild.
David believes that his best project is his next one — meaning that he never rests on his laurels and always strives for innovation and originality.
