Christine Verbitzki AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Principal

Bio

Since joining the firm in 1992, Christine's heart and focus has been with education — from K-12 through adult lifelong learning — and creating spaces that inspire learning across the ages.

As a Principal of the firm, she has extensive experience in programming feasibility, design and construction for many of our major college, university and independent school projects. She has been at the forefront of helping these institutions deal with the imperatives of changing pedagogies, varied learning styles and technological advancement.

Christine has chaired the ALA/American Institute of Architects Library Award jury, has been a panelist at the Library Journal’s Design Institute, a workshop leader at the Society of College and University Planners and sits on the Designer Selection Panel for the Massachusetts School Building Authority focusing on Pre-K through 12 public schools.

As a child, Christine spent time on construction sites with her grandfather who oversaw the construction of department stores as an owner's rep. She credits those early experiences for her interest in architecture.
