Student housing supports independent living.
A new approach to student housing, the North Campus Apartments are a cluster of townhouses designed to give upper-level students an off-campus experience while remaining on-campus.

Village-scaled housing creates an intimate living experience.
A cluster of 21 townhouses creates a village of intimately-scaled residences located around two common greens. Each townhouse can house eight to twelve students for a maximum capacity of 232 students.
Students manage the household together.
Students share common areas on the ground-floor including a kitchen, living room, dining area, and half-bath. Bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the second and third floors.
A LEED Gold Certified development.
Key green design strategies include high-efficiency building systems and plumbing fixtures, geothermal heat exchange for heating and cooling the homes, Energy Star appliances, CFL and LED lighting, framing efficiencies, passive random mitigation, durability planning and management process, and energy modeling. After completion, the project received a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index Score of 65 — exceeding the performance of Energy Star for Homes by 35 percent.
